How to Play Logiqz
A daily word puzzle with one golden rule
Every day, Logiqz gives you 5 rows, each with its own clue. Solve them in any order.
One rule makes it different from every other word game: no letter can repeat in a column. Every word you solve rules out letters for the rows you haven't solved yet, so each answer makes the next one easier to find.
How a puzzle works
- Read the clue. Each of the 5 rows is one word, and each word has its own clue — like a crossword clue, but the grid itself helps you solve it.
- Use the column rule. Once a row is solved, its letters are off-limits in those columns for the other rows.
- Watch your mistakes. You get a limited number of mistakes (5 in Standard play), so a guess has a cost.
- Stuck? Take the hint. Each puzzle gives you 1 hint. Using it is a strategy, not a failure — your result still counts.
Three ways to play
- Standard — the daily game as designed. 5 mistakes allowed.
- Guided — more starter letters (2 per word) to get you going. 4 mistakes allowed. A good first game.
- No Reveals — no starter help. 5 mistakes allowed. For players who want the hardest version.
New to Logiqz? Start with Guided (choose it in Settings). In the game itself, tap the ? at the top any time for a quick 3-step walkthrough.
Try one clue
From the Oct 22, 2026 puzzle (Lion's Share): "Dracula's dental protrusions" — 5 letters.
Got it? That's 1 of the 5 clues in that day's puzzle. (No spoilers here.)
